Two Skirts Two Ways

Skirts are a popular option for summer dressing but so often we hear from our clients that they struggle with how to style them. With two incredible skirt options available at Pavilion right now, we thought it would be an excellent opportunity to give you some tricks and tips on how to work them into your summer wardrobe!

Wrap skirts are an easy way to ease yourself into skirts because they aren’t rigid in fit and can be worn both high and low on the hips depending on how you tie them, so the option is yours! We love the Toteme pure silk skirt because it’s incredibly weightless for hot summer days and to throw into a suitcase. St Agni’s midi wrap skirt in muted slate is a viscose twill, fully lined and easy to take from summer to winter because of its weight.
A foolproof way to style a skirt is to layer it over a long fitted tank, which will lay flat flawlessly under the fabric. AMO’s Long Rib Tank collection is our go to, and all you need for summer! Coordinate with accessories by adding another slate tone, like the Maria wedges new from St Agni, and an on-trend raffia bag. A couple of special pieces of jewelry in complementary tones will complete the look.

Another way to effortlessly wear a wrap skirt is by tucking in your favorite fitted tee. We love ATM’s Slub Jersey collection for the subtle burnout effect of the fabric and the “fitted but loose” silhouette, and it’s an easy way to dress it down for everyday wear. Keep the coordinated accessories in mind when adding an ecru purse, blonde sunglasses and black footwear to tie it altogether. Think of styling skirts like you would style denim–up or down with your favorite essentials–and we know you’ll come to love wearing them!
