The Color of Spring

We are fully embracing spring, and all the change that it brings with open arms. Afterall, 2021 has already been a year full of change and hope. Spring is a time for optimism, sunshine and color. Let us bask in the petals of fresh blooms and brighten up our lives and wardrobes with some new hues. With everything in full bloom, we are bringing the same optimistic color to Pavilion, and we cannot wait for all of you to see it. On this week’s Editorial, we are diving into all of the beautiful soft and saturated shades of spring.

Spring is infamous for an array of pastels and bright color combos that bring perennial joy, and even more satisfaction when we can integrate some of these pops into our daily wardrobe. We love bringing new brands into the Pavilion family, and RE/DONE’s new spring story is a mix of statement pieces and everyday essentials that we are raving over! The new 90s Oversized Cardigan in Space Dye is equal parts fashion and fun. The cardigan is a crucial layering piece this seaspn, and we love the cozy silhouette of this colorful piece. This wool sweater features a diluted blend of oranges, blues and purples all to make the perfect finishing piece. Layer your cardi over a colorful basic such as RE/DONE’s Ribbed Tank in Navy for an easy base. Finish the look with a light wash jean and a clean white sneaker in honor of spring - we went with Moussy’s new Melvin Tapered High in Blue, outfitted with Golden Goose’s Pure Star in Optic White.  RE/DONE also stays true to pastels and trendy colors with their staple layer, the Classic Hoodie in Faded Orchid. The perfect combination of cozy and cute, this slouchy hoodie features contrast white draw cords all in a fun lilac coloration. Go spring forward and reach for a denim cut off such as Moussy’s Packard Short in Blue for a laid back finish as the weather warms up. Tie things together with more color and sporty comfort with Golden Goose’s Running Sole in Black Nylon. Last but not least, we have to respect the fact that not all spring days are going to be rainbows and sunshine. Reach for a transitional outerwear piece such as Harris Wharf’s Cocoon Coat Light Pressed Wool in Rosemary. This fun pistachio colored piece is made using their lightweight pressed wool, perfect for breezy days and mixed climates. Go for simple outfitting, and layer your coat atop an easy white tank. We love the versatility and cut of RE/DONE’s 90s Tank in Optic White. Add a distressed ankle crop jean such as Moussy’s Lenwood in Light Blue for subtle comfort and style. To add in some classic seasonal texture, and we love the warm color and bohemian vibe we get with St. Agni’s best selling Paris Woven Mule in Vintage Tan.
