To all of our Pavilion loyalists, it’s known that our vast assortment Golden Goose Deluxe Brand sneakers are the hot ticket item that we always have in spades. If you’ve had the opportunity to stroll through or past our store then you’re familiar with our show stopping display, and we are proud to say that we boast one of the largest collections in the Bay Area. To those who aren’t familiar with GGDB, you may be asking yourself - what is so special about these seemingly “used” or dirty looking sneakers? To all Golden Goose novices, these sneakers are in fact hand constructed in Venice, Italy using advanced techniques to scuff and scrape the shoe, giving them that infamously hip distressed look that sets them apart from others. Handmade using the finest of leathers and other premium materials, the Italians show us that they really do it best. The price point may bring you doubt, but once you slip into a pair and give them a chance to break in, you’ll understand why they are so costly. In this week’s Editorial, we are giving you all a peak of a few new arrivals, but act fast, as they are set to sell out quickly!

The Superstar is Golden Goose’s signature style that has become the mainstay of the brand. We love to call it the “starter sneaker” as once you splurge on your first pair of these, we guarantee that you’ll be coming back for more. Amongst our most recent shipment, we received three new Superstar styles, and each is truly unique in their own way. The Superstar Sneaker in light Green Glitter Heel with Purple Laces features a subtle light green, chunky glitter heel - a heritage component of the brand. These sparkly tennies are finished off with summer-forward lilac laces for that small injection of seasonal color. Skewing on the neutral side, this is the perfect everyday sneaker to add to your summer wardrobe. Next on the low-top side, we have the Superstar in White Black Graphic in Gold Heel. A more unisex style, this simple pair gets some updates dawning a playful hand drawn look with a gold heel tab. Pair these with a pair of distressed blue jeans, and a graphic tee for an effortlessly cool weekend look. Lastly, the Superstar in Net with Leopard Star and Pink Laces is a great example of Golden Goose’s ability to mix main materials. Featuring grey corded siding and a sueded toe, this pair gets taken to the next level with the addition of a leopard star and soft pink laces.

Just like there are low top sneaker loyalists, we have those who seek out high tops from Golden Goose. The Francy is the retro-inspired, slim fitting high top of your dreams. Featuring a zipper for easy in-and-out access, Golden Goose has a lot of fun with the little bit more shoe they get out of this style. Our newest Francy in Beige Leopard Print with Blue Heel is a true work of art in and of itself. This sneaker really has it all with printed brown leopard suede, white monogram laces, a soft pink signature star, all elevated with a blue glitter heel and toe stripe for that much desired dose of pizzaz. Don’t forget, high tops like Francys and Slides tend to run a full size large, if you’re between sizes be sure to size down.

Golden Goose’s best selling styles are without a doubt everything we could ever ask for. The designers continue to show us how to evolve by giving us new styles, and when a new style drops, we have to get our hands on it. The Stardan Sneaker in Optic White is the first of its kind, and you can find it right here in store at Pavilion. This brand new low top features a little bit more structure than its predecessors and offers a 90’s inspired basketball feel that will make you feel nostalgic of the past. For those looking for a more subtly distressed look, this ultra white sneaker is the perfect option for you. But fear not, the Stardan still features many of Golden Goose’s signature details including the trademark star with a perforated toe and metallic gold printing on the side. Be sure to check out the heel cup on this white pair of tennies, because the line-art retro basketball emblem printed on the back is the stand out detail that has us most excited.
