Style Spring Stripes

Spring is upon us, which means it’s time to start introducing warm weather prints into our wardrobe! The weather hasn’t yet received the memo on the seasonal change, so we’re still daydreaming about getting into florals and sun dresses, but we can dip our toes into spring prints with stripes–which we have a myriad of at Pavilion! Stripes are a classic approach to prints and are incredibly versatile, easy to style and a fun departure from color blocked separates. Today we familiarize you with our collection of stripes at Pavilion and show you how to style them in numerous different ways.

Elevate simple jeans and a tee with a crisp button up in a subtle stripe. Our newest shirt by Moussy is a long crop in a boxy silhouette with sweetly textured buttons and a crisp pinstripe across. It looks incredible paired with spring’s freshest denim silhouettes, particularly those high and pinched in the waist for a playful approach to an otherwise basic silhouette. Add a clean white blazer for warmth and sparkling gold accessories to elevate the look even further.

For those who prefer a full length shirt over a crop, the Lydia is a great alternative. Boldened with blue and white stripes, a standup collar with a subtle ruffle and cuffs to match, this shirt is great for work or play. Wear it with your best trousers for the office, or take it out for a weekend adventure by pairing it with white wide leg pants and a denim jacket. Teamed with cat eye sunglasses and a bold sandal, this take is unusual yet striking with a touch of nautical influence but is entirely modern yet classic.

Swap the striped shirt for a striped blazer for a different look. Utilitarianism is on trend for spring, so infuse the look with a carpenter jean as a nod to the style. The denim jacket by Moussy is a classic navy blazer with a white pinstripe that lends itself to both formal and more casual outfits, and we love it dressed down with a simple white tee and on-trend denim.

Maybe you’re a huge stripe enthusiast, and are not afraid to don it head to toe! If this is you, then you will love our newest set from Cara Cara, a two piece set complete in classic stripes. We love this set because it is so multifunctional, looks great together and separately with a myriad of different pieces. Wear the top and skirt together for a full stripe ensemble, and add statement accessories, like chevron baguette studs to mirror the shape of the stripes, to complete the look. This is a classic but striking outfit that will carry you from spring to summer.
