Spring Break Style

The rain might be keeping California from its typical spring weather right now, but that doesn’t stop the calendar–spring break season is upon us! Many school calendars are about to or are already releasing their students for the week, which means it’s time to start planning vacation looks! Whether you’re heading to the snow, escaping to a sunny destination or staying in the city, at Pavilion we have you covered on what to wear and how.

Wherever you’re headed to, chances are you will be getting there through an airport. Attire for flight travel is always a challenge because comfort is priority, but style is key. Merge the two worlds by incorporating printed fleece into your outfit, and elevate a pair of leggings by choosing matte leather instead of stretch spandex. Infuse the look with a couple of sparkling rings that are easy to take on and off getting through security, and your favorite low top sneakers for comfort.

If you’re traveling to a snowy destination for the week, it’s important to incorporate lots of layers in preparation. We recommend starting with a fitted long sleeve, which can be worn to the slopes or spa, then adding a thicker weight sweater for warmth and comfort. Finish with a thick, oversized coat that offers room for layers and thus ample warmth as well. Pack your favorite leggings for the comfortable indoor activities, and your favorite black denim for everything else. Maintain a neutral color palette by picking one tone to pair with black–that way any look you do can merge seamlessly with one another.

Alternatively, if you’re jetting off to a warm weather destination, it’s a good opportunity to add print into your packing wardrobe–especially in a two piece set that can be worn in more ways than one! Grab a matching crop top and skirt set and alternate the top with a white tee for a more casual look, or pair the printed crop top with your favorite long denim. Grab your favorite sneakers in coordinated colors and an elevated sandal for your dinner nights out. Seamlessly mix and match these separates for a myriad of chic vacation outfits.

For those staying close to home, we got you covered as well! Maybe a staycation is in order for you, and you’re planning some downtime in the city for shopping, sightseeing and relaxing close to home. This is a great opportunity to flaunt some of spring’s trending styles–like a wide leg trouser swapped out for a jean. We love pairing our collection of simple statement trousers with a bold print, like those of Anine Bing’s offerings. An active day in the city calls for comfort, and slouchy trousers guarantee that. Pair the look with lots of unique jewelry for a striking look, and a chic sneaker that provides both comfort and style. Just because you aren’t traveling doesn’t mean that looking fabulous isn’t on your agenda–and at Pavilion, we have lots of trending styles to keep you looking stylish through spring, so pop in before your spring break to get outfitted!
