Famous for the softest selvedge, Moussy Vintage always showcases unique hand distressing and craftsmanship in all of their denim. With each pair carefully made by hand, their jeans always have equal parts vintage style with modern functionality. If you’re looking for the best everyday pant with the coolest distressed touches, Moussy offers an array of styles cut from their famed fabrications: rigid, ‘comfort stretch’ and a 2% stretch. The Merry is made from Moussy’s most rigid fabric and is an update to the previous beloved Kelley and Keller jean. This mid-rise pant is now slightly higher than its predecessors but with relatively clean vintage finish. Maintaining the substantial cotton denim and subtle taper through the leg, this new fit offers a thick vintage jean feeling, perfect for keeping the latest white version opaque. The Merry runs slightly small and stiff, we recommend sizing up, starting tight and giving them time to grow slightly to become truly yours. The Merry Jean is available in three washes at Pavilion: white, light blue and blue.
The Carter Friend Jean is a completely new style to Moussy and is the ideal choice for those looking for slight stretch. This lightweight 2% stretch fabric is a unique blend that offers more stretch than its rigid counterpart. The Carter is a ‘slim boyfriend’ fit which can be worn relaxed and skimming the profile and lower on the hips. It is not intended to be a tight fit, so select this jean for a more relaxed look, size up to make these look intentionally baggy. We recommend taking your true to size for a close fit, this style as the will retain its shape and not grow or soften as much with wear as with the rigid or comfort stretch.
The Daleville Jean is made in Moussy’s hallmark comfort stretch fabrication. Ideal for those who have previously loved the Glendele, this is a slightly less distressed (no open holes) version with a slightly higher mid-rise, the same fringe hem and beloved vintage looking fabric. The softest and stretchiest category of Moussy denim - the ‘comfort stretch’, provides ample comfort for sitting and movement and the satisfaction of a vintage jean look. The comfort stretch should start snug as they quickly grow one to two sizes from its original. Be certain to take them true to size and start with them tight. With time these will relax and contour perfectly to your shape.
