Mad For Plaid

As we settle into spring we’re still excited for plaid but in a fun, fresh, iteration. This season we’re breaking free from your traditional holiday, lumbersexual flannel-plaid and opting for lighter, cooler colors, in updated patterns and modern silhouettes. One of our house favorite brands, Anine Bing, has created the perfect plaid blazer known as the Madeleine. As personal stylists, we're showing you two different colorways to wear a loud print, and how a classic shape can entirely transform and elevate your everyday look. Even as staunch minimalists, we’re loving this twist on a classic to change up our historically neutral wardrobe. While some people are going full force on the maximalist trend, we think it’s easiest to get the most mileage out of this Aning Bing look by grounding it with our favorite basics. You can easily dress the Madeleine up, but we’re wearing things casually to show you how to maximize your use and take things from day to night.
