Hot Off The Press: Harris Wharf London AW20

At this point in 2020, we’re using the upcoming holiday season as a hopeful conduit for some normalcy and joy.  With Halloween as a clear indicator of true fall, November brings a cut to tuck away our spooky decor and welcome the true holiday spirit with open arms. Thanksgiving, and the season for bundling are quickly approaching, blink and you might miss it. To bring a bit more brightness to your winter wardrobes we’re celebrating the arrival of Harris Wharf London outerwear. In this week’s Editorial, we are showing our Pavilion family a few of our favorite new styles fresh from Italy, because we all know that no one does outerwear quite like they do.
One thing that we impatiently await from fall is the gorgeous autumnal color palette we see from all of our favourite designers. Harris Wharf London always knows what they're doing when it comes to giving us fresh seasonal tones and fabrications. We can’t get over the color and print of the new Cocoon Boiled Wool Leopard Print Coat in Moss Green. This playful piece features a deep olive green grounded print with pops of black spots making this coat a moody statement layer. Crafted in Italy from their cozy boiled wool, this unlined cocoon silhouette features a flattering fitted shoulders and sleeve, angular notched lapels and concealed front buttons for a clean finish. When outfitting this coat, keep things a little grungy yet refined with a deep colored sweater. We love the soft hand feel and layered look we get with Loulou Studio’s new Tizzano Lightweight Turtleneck in Black Melange. This super lightweight charcoal cashmere blend turtleneck features a voluminous balloon sleeve and stylized drop shoulder with a semi-cropped length for a modern finish. Go tonal with a pair of deep colored pants like Moussy’s Maplewood Skinny Hi in Black. This high rise skinny is perfected with a little bit of added stretch for a comfortable figure hugging fit and tasteful hits of distress with a raw hem. Accessorize your dark fall tones with a matching black slide such as St. Agni’s Desi Knit Loafer in Black and a black pair of sunnies - we went with Krewe’s Collins Nylons in Black + Black and Crystal.

Fall neutrals are always a good idea, especially when it comes time to get in the spirit of “Winter White”.  Stark whites can be polarizing, especially when it comes to our outerwear, but the warm toned Pressed Wool Volcano Coat in Almond is the perfect off-white shade for a more muted and versatile layer. Nearly a cult classic from Harris Wharf, this double breasted piece is an incredibly elegant silhouette featuring a full length feminine cut, oversized waterfall style lapels all fastened by a wrap around waist belt. Made from their signature pressed virgin wool, this classy piece is sure to become your staple outerwear for those cooler days and nights. The ivory coloration welcomes endless outfitting possibilities, but we love how light and bright things look when layered atop Loulou Studio’s Porri Sweater in Celadon. This powder blue pullover features a soft built up mock neck with a dramatic balloon sleeve cut in a spongy, delicate 100% cashmere. Go for a classic blue skinny such as AGOLDE’s Nico High Rise Slim in Fixation. A brand favorite fit cut in a soft but substantial stretch denim with a clean leg. Add a little bit of fun and go with a sneaker, we didn’t want to disrupt the soft palette, and opted for a white sneaker from Golden Goose, the Superstar in White with Gold Star. Accessorize with rose gold tones and go with a pair of shades such as Krewe’s Earharts in Rose Gold Titanium

Finding a jacket or coat that checks every box when it comes to style, versatility, and functionality is no easy task. Leave it to Harris Wharf to give us something that feels mega stylish without sacrifice - the Oversized Trench Coat Technic Polaire in Black. This new lightweight trench is made using their technic water repellent polyester shell material lined in an ultra soft fleece polaire. Classic double breasting features paired with an exaggerated drop shoulder and semi-wide sleeve for a slouchy aesthetic with a functional waist belt to cinch things in. Harris Wharf makes it clear that they are all about the details with this piece, capturing traditional trench detailing throughout with an updated and and super cozy fleece lined fabrication. Go black on black and exude refined street style with Anine Bing’s Lili Retro Bing Tee in Washed Black. This best selling tee body gets a cool update featuring a shrunken center front graphic with dual colored text for a nostalgic feel. With a high neck and boxier lived-in silhouette, this tee goes great with any of your favorite distressed denim. We went skinny with Moussy’s Lancaster Skinny in Blue to balance out the fabric-heavy situation on top. These tapered jeans gain a destroyed look from whiskering and subtle distress at the knees and thighs. This ankle crop skinny features 1% spandex for a little bit of movement with subtle patch-like detailing at the knees. Finish things off with a retro high top sneaker such as Golden Goose’s Francy High Top in White. Accessorize with a chunky black shade such as Illesteva’s Lisbon in Black and finish things off with your favorite gold jewelry.
