We are jumping for joy that the Illesteva Trunk Show is continuing just in time for this beautiful weather. We are lucky to give you a special glimpse of some of their latest styles - don’t wait though, we won’t have them forever! If you’ve been following along our most recent Editorial posts, then you’ll be familiar with the vast assortment of sunny styles we’ve shown you. From acetate frames and thin wireframes, to funky fresh colorways for those looking to take a risk, the options are endless. No one can deny the amazing feeling you get when someone stops you on the street to compliment that “wow” piece you were almost too afraid to step out in. Sunglasses may be a small accessory, but a funky set of spectacles can immediately punch up an ensemble while still offering maximum protection! This week, we want to take a big step out of the box and show you three outfit elevating and fashion forward, trend-pushing styles that will have you feeling as confident as ever.

We’ve said it in the past and we’ll say it again: cat-eye frames are here to stay! We know it can be daunting to stray from your neutral go-to favorites, but we love pushing a glow up - especially when sunglasses are involved. Illesteva continues to represent and reward risk takers with their exaggerated take on the cat-eye with the Isabella in Black. This fun-loving acetate frame is elevated with notched eyelash-esque details, decorating each top corner with attitude.  A lot of focus has been on Illesteva’s newest collection, but that doesn’t take away from any of the other brands we adore so much, especially KREWE. This New Orleans based company knows exactly how to take a risk with their more fashion forward frames. For those of you who tend to gravitate towards a round lens, but don’t want to go for another basic iteration, the STL II in Stardust to Buff is the perfect combination of classic and daring. An oversized version of their signature St. Louis frame, the STL II is inspired by the brand’s surroundings in the French Quarter, featuring detailed cast iron work and handcrafted pinned hinges. These ultra-luxe frames feature a multi-colored acetate elevated with unique matte 24k gold plated hardware to give them that signature “KREWE” look.  These summer-fresh shades will bring some classic notes to your daily look on a sunny day.
