Krewe is headquartered and designed in New Orleans with a southern sentiment infused into all their designs. Founded by NOLA native Stirling Barrett, the brand draws inspiration from its local architecture such as its iconic cast-iron balconies and diverse cultural roots to create beautifully unique and functional frames that come with a lifetime warranty.
With intricate details and stunning colors, these are entirely handcrafted all over the world and are 100% UVA/UVB protection. Depending on your preference there are polarized, mirrored and flat styles. Krewe’s wire frames like the Austin’s are styled as an elevated aviator and crafted in 18 or 24K titanium hardware that not only makes them lifetime guaranteed but also catches the eye when worn. For polarized lenses suited for high intensity activities in direct sunshine to cut the glare, choose between Zulu 24k with tortoise rims or Champagne 18k for a warm neutral version.
Marrying a cat eye with a square shape is Krewe’s iconic Jena, and one of our enduring bestsellers! Jena is crafted from handmade acetate for ultimate comfort and is universally flattering. A perfect everyday pair, choose from Malt, Blonde which is mirrored, or Matcha which comes polarized.
Named for one of New Orleans’ most famous streets, the Prytania is a chunky acetate frame with a modernized square shape that elevates this classic. Quartz is mirrored with a subtle ombre neutral tint, and Crystal is a clean clear frame that works for any outfit or style and transcends seasons.
The last style of our collection is the Soniat frame. Inspired by and named after New Orleans’ historic Soniat house, this acetate frame is an oversized butterfly shape with lots of charming details.
