Three Ways to Wear a Trench

Spring is nearing but the rain isn’t stopping, which means it’s the perfect time of the year to try out a trench coat! Our latest arrivals from our overcoat specialists at Harris Wharf include the most gorgeous sage green–a perfect color for spring–short trench coat that we are absolutely loving right now. Today we show you three ways to style it for the end of winter and into spring.

With its lovely sage green hue, lightweight pressed wool and sharp tailoring, this short trench coat is a great transitional staple. With the adjustable sash waist, we recommend wearing it open with the sash tied in the back to show off your layers. This way, pair it with a high waist pant with an easy tee tucked in and a contrasting belt to center the waist and highlight your shape. Pick separates that match each other tonally like warm creams, then offset the pieces with a black belt to really draw the eye to the narrowest part of your figure. Then match the black belt with black flats for a chic spring look!

This short trench is a great way to add polish and elevate even the simplest everyday outfit. Wear the trench closed and tied at the waist with simple jeans and a long sleeve crew for an easy outfit that is chic yet simple. Add a pair of socks with cuffed jeans to contrast your sneakers and add more interest to the outfit.
