Fresh from Italy, the brand new Spring 2019 collection of Golden Goose are here! True to their Venetian roots, this collection is just as distressed and comfortable as ever with a few new twists, pops and prints to celebrate the coming warmer weather. Despite our deep seated commitment to minimalism we’re having fun with some daring print, metallic and neon as our main accessory to our traditionally tonal look. Here’s a spring guide on the new shapes and shoes we’re loving our favorite handmade sneaker company, Golden Goose Deluxe Brand.

Superstar - Mini Zebra Suede Fluoro Lace: These may be the most wild pair to ever grace Pavilion but since these sneakers are such an addiction we figured you might as well make your next pair unique. There’s a lot going on with the shoe, from fluorescent laces to a purple heel tab and a zebra body, these aren’t for the faint of heart. For all of the ladies in black this might be your effortless nod to maximalism without fully committing. These are running fairly true in size (size up if between sizes).

Slide - Silver Glitter Leather Black Star: These sneakers feel like business in the front and party in the back! Always suckers for a good high top, this is a bit of a unicorn shoe for Golden Goose (and no, not just because of the glitter), high tops and sparkle are heritage components of the brand but they seldom come in black. With black leather trim on the top and the signature star to tie things together, these sneakers are surprisingly neutral that can pair back with anything. We feel the slides run on the large and wide side, size down if between sizes. The zipper is one of our favorite features that make taking your shoes on and off a breeze. We think you’ll be sliding in and out of these puppies all year long.

Superstar - White Silver Half-Green Laminated Leather: Smoother than your average, these silvery sneakers feel a bit different than your traditional Superstar. Golden Goose combined some of the side mesh components from the best selling Gum Cord style, with the tried and true Superstar, making for what we think is one of the most comfortable styles to date. These really shine in the sun but when paired with regular lighting and an easy dress or jeans, we think these are a great update to everyday footwear. We’ve found these to run slightly bigger than most Superstars but still overall true to size.

Superstar - White with Black Metal Lettering: This pair of nearly clean Superstars aren’t exactly new since we’ve had them in stock before but they’re a tried and true classic, particularly for anyone who hasn’t committed to the full Golden Goose experience. The high points of the brand are still intact, hand distressing, super comfortable, and small luxe details (metal lettering on one shoe) but a white body and black heel tab make these easy to pair with any outfit. These are a great introduction to the brand with all of the literal comforts of a Superstar. Keep a sundress cool or wear these everyday to work, these are the most versatile pair to own. These run true, if not a half size small, size up if between sizes.
