New Year's Eve Style Guide

The end of the year is upon us and 2023 is right around the corner–it’s time to start planning our celebratory outfits! At Pavilion we have rounded up the three biggest trends for the incoming year and provide you with ideas on how to wear them to commemorate the holiday in style.

Satin silks are the first major trend on our sartorial minds this holiday season. Fluid silk charmeuse in delicate but impactful silhouettes is the ideal stylish centerpiece of a New Year’s Eve outfit because it elevates any ensemble while providing endless comfort. Cut on the bias gives it a nod to vintage styles but made inherently modern, we have many iterations at Pavilion and encourage you to infuse your holiday look with a touch of this trend! Dress up denim and juxtapose soft supple silks with sharp leather details, like pointed ankle boots. Keep the outfit monochromatic for simplicity and to allow the silk to shine.

In the throes of winter it’s cold out, so don’t forget to bundle up in our second trending item for the season–warm bombers. Bomber jackets provide an alternative silhouette to a classic coat and a cool, laidback sentiment to an otherwise dressy outfit. Our last trending item is the wide leg pant–a perfectly elevated departure from daily denim! We have a myriad of wide leg options available at Pavilion that can be styled for the perfect New Year’s ensemble. Pleated varieties add class and sophistication but can easily be dressed up or down. If your pant of choice includes belt loops, it’s an ideal candidate for a waist cinching belt, which when balanced with a drapey silk top, creates a wonderfully flattering silhouette on the body. Finish the look with a sharply tailored blazer and you’re ready for any type of holiday activity!
