New Denim Fit Trends

New year, new denim! As we near the end of January and spring starts to become our central sartorial focus, we can’t help but feel the urge to upgrade our denim. With some trending new silhouettes at the forefront of fashion right now, we want to introduce you to some of the most popular fits for denim in 2024, and how you can style them at Pavilion.

Directional denim is always a good idea if you’re looking for a flattering silhouette but the exaggerated lines of such a jean are trending for 2024 as well. With an ultra high rise (12 inches) and an extra long inseam, this jean is a Pavilion favorite and will look so flattering on any body type as it elongates the legs and waistline. We love it with longer cropped tops–much of which AMO’s separates at Pavilion fit the bill on–to highlight the endless length of this jean and the flattering pinch of the waist. We’ve got the Frida in Black Oak for your pre-spring wardrobe, and look out for a light wash Frida for spring also coming this week!

Denim is such a fun and playful arena of fashion lately, making room for lots of various styles and silhouettes for everyone and every body type. If a directional jean is too long and high for your liking, low and baggy is just as trendy and a comfortable, easy alternative. With an ultra coveted curved knee seam and easy straight leg fit, the Sandra is a low rise jean that is another new style we are so excited about. Pair a low rise jean like this with a full length top or baggy sweatshirt loosely tucked in the front and sleek low-top sneakers for a casual everyday look you’ll want to live in all year.

It’s all in the denim details, the little touches that set it apart and make it a jean you just have to add to your rotation. Such is the Calvin Jean from Pavilion favorite brand Nili Lotan. A classic carpenter style jean with utility touches and back patch pockets is crafted from ultra heavy weight denim, reminiscent of both 1970’s denim and tough workwear pants. These have a slim straight fit and a feminine high mid rise that hugs the hips. Soften these jeans with a silk blouse and simple leather flats.

Stay tuned for more spring denim styles, coming soon at Pavilion!
